Keeping it Brief
The
Risk to the immediate Kansas City Metro is somewhat contracted today,
compared to the forecast from two days ago. That being said, if we do
see Severe Weather, the impact could be pretty strong. Expect anything from Severe Winds, to Hail, to even some Tornadoes. We just want to
keep things in perspective, so let's dive into the graphics for the
whole picture.UPDATE 1: All the NWS SPC graphics were updated at 11:30 AM
UPDATE 2: Tornado Watches have been issued for a wide area including counties in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
